Host a Hawk

The best collegiate baseball players in the country will be headed to Cape Cod this summer and are looking to join your family as they chase their dreams of becoming a major league baseball player.

The Hyannis Harbor Hawks are a non-profit, volunteer based organization that rely on host families to host our players during their stay. Truthfully, the host families are the backbone of our organization. Many players become extremely close to their host families and form a lifelong relationship. Host families have been invited to their former player’s weddings, MLB games, and more. Hosting is also a great opportunity to become part of a fun community on the Cape. Still not convinced? Hosting details:

• Host families receive a $125 weekly stipend per player

• The regular season runs from the beginning of June to the beginning-middle of August

• You are required to provide 1 meal a day for your player(s)

• Players are responsible for their own transportation. Many bring their own cars or carpool with nearby teammates

• Players are responsible for their own laundry
