Chad Gassman Head Coach Waldorf College 2nd Year with Hyannis (1st as head coach)

Chad Gassman is in his third season as the head coach for Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa. Coach Gassman played at Morehead State University and received his Master’s Degree from Olivet-Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Ill. He was an assistant coach at both Olivet-Nazarene University and Young Harris College (GA) before serving as an associate scout with the Florida Marlins. While at Olivet-Nazarene, Gassman helped the Tigers to back-to-back NAIA World Series appearances and two CCAC Conference Titles. During his time with Young Harris, the Mountain Lions went 51-11, were Regional Champions and Runner-Up District Champions. They were also ranked as high as #2 in the NJCCA polls. Gassman has also been a coach and an instructor with Athletes in Action, the Chicago White Sox Summer Training Academy, and Notre Dame Baseball Camps. Chad and his wife, Shannon, have a daughter, Taylor.
