The 2008 CCBL ERA leader returns to Hyannis for a third season.  Austin went 1-2 a summer ago with a 1.50 ERA in seven starts, before having his season ended by a broken jaw.  He also walked just eight and struck out 25 in 36 innings pitched.  In his first two seasons at Central Florida he was used primarily out of the bullpen, making 42 appearances with only two starts.  A 37th-round draft pick of the Washington Nationals in 2006, Austin led Boone High School in Orlando to the state championship game in 2005.  He is majoring in criminal justice.
