The Hyannis Athletic Association (HAA) is a non-profit all-volunteer community-based organization that contributed thousands of hours each year to bringing the very best collegiate players to the Hyannis Harbor Hawks of the Cape Cod Baseball League.
McKeon Park has undergone some dramatic improvements in the past few years with your continuing support:
- New field lighting system
- New LED scoreboard
- New bleachers and a new batting tunnel
- New bricked dugouts and backstop
- Improvements to the park entrance
- An upgraded public address system
Our latest project is a full renovation and enlargement of the press box facility behind home plate. Phase one of the project was completed last season, placing a roof over the head of our broadcast team and improving security at the park. The remaining construction for this season doubles the size of the press box and gives it a total external makeover while adding a new modern concession stand and increased space for our merchandise mart, volunteer gameday staff, and much more.
We need your help to push our fundraising goals over the top! With only $20,000, we can complete this $155,000 project. Please click our pledge sheet to learn more and make a pledge, or contribute today by clicking one of the "Donate" buttons on this page.
Mckeon Park is used by many organizations and individuals including
the H.A.A., Pope John Paul II High School, Saint Francis Xavier
Preparatory School, Sturgis Charter High School, Barnstable American
Legion Post 206, and many other groups. Your support will directly benefit these non-profit and educational groups who make it their mission to provide the highest quality athletic experience to young people on Cape Cod.
