JUDY WALDEN SCARAFILE FIELD at MCKEON PARK

Welcome to the home ballpark of the Hyannis Harbor Hawks! The field at McKeon Park was rededicated in 2015 for longtime Cape League president Judy Walden Scarafile in honor of her decades of support of Hyannis and the Cape League.

LOCATION

High School Rd., Hyannis, behind St. John Paul II High School. At only two blocks south of Main St., the park is within walking distance of both the downtown area and Hyannis Harbor.

DIMENSIONS

320 to left, 358 to left center, 394 to center, 332 to right center, 324 to right.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS

FROM ROUTE 6:Exit Route 6 at Exit 6, following Route 132 South to Hyannis. Travel 1.5 miles until the highway median ends, and bear right at the fourth set of lights from the exit to turn onto Bearses Way. Follow Bearses Way straight through two sets of lights, crossing Route 28. About three-quarters of a mile after Route 28, enter a roundabout and take the third exit onto High School Road. Go straight through two sets of lights at North Street and Main Street (stay in the left lane for the latter intersection), and go straight at the stop sign on South Street. The field is on the left side of the high school at the end of the road, and parking surrounds the building.

FROM ROUTE 28 WEST OF HYANNIS (FALMOUTH-COTUIT):Follow Route 28 1.5 miles into Hyannis (from the "Welcome to Hyannis" sign outside CVS) until the intersection with Bearses Way, with a car dealership ahead on the left and a shopping plaza on the right. Take a right onto Bearses Way.

FROM ROUTE 28 EAST OF HYANNIS (ORLEANS-YARMOUTH):Just before reaching the Yarmouth-Barnstable town line, Route 28 will bend to the right and a left-turn lane will become available (the gas station on the far side of this intersection has small wind turbines on top of it). Enter this left lane and take a slight left onto Main Street at that set of lights; signs will indicate Hyannis. Stay on Main Street through the next two traffic lights. Take a left at the third set of lights at High School Road. Go straight at the stop sign on South Street. The field is on the left side of the high school at the end of the road, and parking surrounds the building.

FROM THE AIRPORT ROTARY:Exit the rotary traveling south on Barnstable Road. (The road will be briefly divided by a small concrete median.) Go straight through two sets of lights and take a right onto North Street, about 1/4 mile after the second set of lights. Go straight through the set of lights at Winter Street. Take a left at the following set of lights at High School Road.
